Seasonal Rainfall Forecasts
Bearing in mind that the agricultural production is rain-fed depedant, and there is an incease in the iregularity of seasonal rainfall, the Department provides ahead of time, rainfall forecasts of seasons for the farming communities.

Monthly Agrometeorological Bulletins
In addition to seasonal rainfal forecasts, the Department provides monthly agrometeorological bulletin in which advise is given on performance of previous monthly weather conditions and weather outlook for the next month.
